Partner
Innovation, high security and compliance
In order to meet their innovation, high security and compliance needs, the specialists at Alphasys maintain intensive cooperation with their network of partners: Zurich University of Applied Sciences (ZHAW), SIX-Telekurs AG and others.
These partners have long-established expertise in information technology, in the preparation of financial information as well as in compliance in the financial sector. The combination of the specialist skills of Alphasys and the expertise of its partners creates the conditions for consistently promoting innovation and taking full account of legal and regulatory requirements.
Alphasys also exploits the synergies offered by the location of its company headquarters in the Technopark at Winterthur. There is a direct and close interchange of ideas with ZHAW, which is also based there.
Telekurs
A reliable source of international financial information
SIX Telekurs AG (formerly Telekurs Financial Information Ltd.) and Alphasys are linked by a close and fruitful collaborative arrangement. With access to the database of SIX Telekurs, Alphasys is in a position to provide its clients with international financial information in real time. SIX Telekurs is represented in all the important financial centres and has a range of data covering more than five million financial instruments.
Alphasys software solutions are linked via an interface with SIX Telekurs. The apiD delivery platform allows Netfolio users to access the database, a set of functions and the technical interfaces of SIX Telekurs.
The database includes among other things real-time and historical prices, fundamental information about companies, markets and financial instruments, as well as business news.
ZHAW
Dialogue between academia and commerce
Ever since it was formed, Alphasys IT Services AG has exploited the location-related synergies of the Winterthur Technopark, cultivating an intensive dialogue and transfer of expertise with the Zurich University of Applied Sciences (ZHAW), in order to promote innovation and the further development of its products.
The ZHAW places great importance on an interdisciplinary approach, both in its courses and in research. This is also reflected in the collaboration between Alphasys and the institutions of the ZHAW. For example, a prototype for automatically reading of bank slips was developed in cooperation with the Institute for Applied IT (InIT). An analysis of the security of Netfolio and of the server operated for that purpose was also carried out together with InIT.
On the basis of the results of this analysis Alphasys will be given a ZHAW security certificate. Alphasys receives valuable advice from the financial mathematicians of the Institute for Banking and Finance.
